Alejandro Osorio

He studied plastic arts at the University of the Americas, Puebla. He is an artist and cultural manager, co-founder of the gallery Mercado Negro, Arte Contemporáneo together with Nora Adame and NAO estudio, where he develops art and design projects also associated with Nora Adame.

He has participated in collective exhibitions in galleries and museums in Mexico, the United States and Spain, in 2009 he participated in the IV International Prague Biennial, "One Hundred Years: Endogamous and Exogamous Pictorial Practices in Mexico" within Expanded Painting, he has obtained an honorable mention. in the biennial of emerging art, in the national meeting of young art as well as in the Ibero-American meeting Cortez de Cádiz.

His work is part of the collection of the University of the Americas, the collection of the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico, the Mario Testino collection in London and the collection of the Museum of the Americas in Denver.

At the Amparo Museum, Alejandro Osorio gave a lecture.
