Enrique Pichardo
VISUAL ARTIST
Pichardo is not an artist, he is a child with many years.
Enrique Pichardo Egea was born in Mexico City on April 17, 1973, where he currently lives and works, from an early age he showed great interest in creation, for giving shape to his inner world, through simple artistic expressions that simply
they made him happy.
He spent his formative years experiencing different paths and overcoming obstacles before
return to what he was so passionate about in his childhood, this is how he decides to enroll in the
prestigious National School of Painting, Sculpture and Engraving, "La Esmeralda" in the city of
Mexico where great artists such as Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo studied.
Here, however, he did not allow himself to be bound by what he perceived to be strict rules and
bureaucracy, so he decides to rescue the naturalness of the creative innocence of his childhood.
He returned to the natural, to the free; experiencing everything necessary to reunite with the
stamp that he had since he was a child and that would later define the unique style that today represents the artist.
His work has been exhibited in the most important museums in Mexico City such as,
Fine Arts, Frida Kahlo, San Carlos, José Luis, Museum of Popular Art, Dolores Olmedo,
Culturas Populares, has also exhibited in the United States, Europe, Asia, South America and
Hundreds of collectors have opted for his work around the world.
Joy and joy prevail in his works, that is what he wants to give to the spectators; the
originality of visual art, makes us feel through contemplation, what drives,
stimulates, delights, excites, which can only be conveyed pictorially, not linguistically.
